      8 Stainless steel bottles

"We purchased 8 bottles for our family of eight traveling to Kenya- the bottles are colorful-(we bought 1 of every color) They are sturdy & have kept us from getting sick. The only drawback is that it is harder for they younger children to suck the water up the straw but still Doable- so glad to have this resource availed for this kind of trip."

      Nancy H. (5/5)

      Great for travel

"We just returned from 2. 5 weeks travel in Ireland, visiting the big cities as well as the countryside. Our water bottles were invaluable everywhere we went, allowing us the opportunity for clean water wherever we filled up. One thing we found that it was tricky to take vitamins while sucking up the water. Also wished we could pour out clean water to make tea from. We relied on the water being boiled in kettle."

      Martha G. (5/5)

      LifeStraw bottle

"I purchased 2 bottles since there are 2 of us here. They look sturdy. We'll packaged. Of course l have no idea if they will work as advertised since we have not had any emergencies in the weather or environment. I trust they will work well."

      ruth w. (5/5)

Bullet proof, stylish, and of course, the water tastes great

"I keep buying LifeStraw stuff. I keep recommending LifeStraw stuff. It works. Gives tremendous peace of mind at home, on the go, whilst traveling, in the car. Yeah. Get it. You will not regret it."

      Ellen K. (5/5)

      Needs a Few Design Tweaks

"It’s a really good product that eliminates the need for bottled water. I wish it had more ergonomic features, like being smaller at the base to fit better in cup holders, a locking mechanism to prevent the cap from twisting off over time, and a water bottle sling or a full silicone cover to prevent dents and paint chipping."

      Maya B. (4/5)

      Great tag along

"I take this when I'm out with my Grandson for quick worry free water no need for multiple water bottles."

      Dottie D. (5/5)

"Very well made! Easy to refill. Clean water everywhere!!! For EDC also very convenient !!!"

"Kids love the product, its not that hard to get water from the straw!!!! The kids love it!!! Dont believe the hype on how hard it is to get water out from it, like i said the kids love it and tap water never tasted sooo great!!!"

      Q&A

Is the bottle itself machine washable when the filter is removed?
We recommended washing your LifeStraw Go Series bottle by hand but if needed, the Go Series bottles can be placed in the dishwasher for cleaning, but only after the filters are removed and you should avoid the heated dry setting. It is recommended to remove the cover and mouthpiece from the main cap and wash them separately.
Hi there . I have the lifestraw go series stainless steel 18oz. I am wondering if it filters for lead in water?
The Go Series does not filter for lead. To find out which of our products do, visit https://lifestraw.com/pages/compare
Hello, I have the Go Stainless Steel. Is the bottle safe to use without the filters? I don't use the filters when I'm at home, and when I wash my bottle, the water turns gray. I just want to be sure that I'm not drinking metal-related elements.
Hi, Thank you for reaching out. The LifeStraw Go Stainless Steel bottle is designed to be used with its filter, and without it, the bottle may not perform as expected. If you’re noticing that your water turns grey, this could be due to residue or mineral build-up inside the bottle. I recommend giving the bottle a thorough clean with warm, soapy water and rinsing it well. If the issue persists, or if there is any visible damage inside the bottle, it’s best to avoid drinking from it until we can further investigate. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like more assistance.
I have the other life straw water bottles but you have to suck on it to get the water. Is this the same ?
Yes, This is the same concept, with the filter attached to the mouthpiece. You may want to consider the LifeStraw Squeeze where you can squeeze the water to drink.
If I only use this when I travel, how long will the carbon filter last? And is that advisable? Will the carbon filter degrade without constant use? Thanks!
The carbon filters are good for two months. The efficacy is based on exposure time, so as they age they will be less effective at removing chlorine or helping with taste issues in the water. If you are going to only use when travelling, it would be advised to have extra carbon filters ready for future trips. We also recommend reviewing and following long-term storage directions that can be found on our site: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2631/0778/files/Go_Series_Long_Term_Storage.pdf?v=1681403259
is the carbon fikter removable so that I don't need to purchase a new micro filter when the carbon filter needs to be replaced?
Yes, you can remove and replace just the carbon filter on the Go Series bottles. The filter has a separate chamber for the carbon filter element, so it is easy to remove and replace as needed.
What is the dimensions of the bottle on the top when the cap is removed ?
The opening is 6 cm or 2 3/8". The threading diameter is 6.7 cm or 2 7/10".
