Everyone Deserves Equitable Access To Safe Drinking Water

For every 500 products we sell, we distribute a LifeStraw Community purifier to a school in need which provides safe water to 100 school children for five years. Put another way, one purchase of any LifeStraw product provides a year of safe water to a child in need, five purchases provide that child with safe water for the next five years. The Safe Water Fund helps us reach even more communities that need clean water. Beyond our regular Give-Back program, the Safe Water Fund also provides clean water during emergencies and disasters. We work with local partners who know their communities best to find families and schools that need help most. When you donate to the Safe Water Fund, every dollar goes directly to getting safe water to people who need it.

LifeStraw originated as a simple pipe filter to assist the Carter Center with the eradication of Guinea worm disease. Since 1994, LifeStraw has provided over 38 million Guinea worm filters to support eradication efforts.
