Feel Secure
"I feel secure in the fact that I'm well protected from micro plastics. The only drawback is that sometimes pressure builds up in the bottle and will come up through the straw and spill."
LifeStraw Go Series 22 oz Water Filter Bottle: Science-Backed Protection, Real-World Impact
The LifeStraw Go Series 22 oz is a dual-stage, BPA-free water filter bottle priced at $44.95, available in multiple colors including Icelandic Blue, Aegean Sea, Laguna Teal, Polar White, Kyoto Orange, Cherry Blossom, and Nordic Noir. Its membrane microfilter (0.2 micron pore size) removes 99.999999% of bacteria (including E. coli and Salmonella), 99.999% of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), and 99.999% of microplastics, plus silt, sand, and cloudiness, while the activated carbon filter reduces chlorine, odors, and organic chemical matter. The membrane microfilter lasts up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 L)—the equivalent of 8,000 single-use bottles—and the bottle is leakproof, dishwasher safe (filters removed), and weighs 247 g with a 22 fl oz (650 mL) capacity. It is independently lab-tested to WHO, US EPA, and NSF standards, meets US EPA & NSF P231 drinking water standards and NSF 42 for chlorine reduction, and LifeStraw is a certified B Corp and Climate Neutral brand. Every purchase supports LifeStraw's Give Back program, providing a year of safe water to a child in need.

How it compares
Unlike many popular bottles (e.g., Brita premium) that rely on activated carbon alone and do not filter biological contaminants, the Go Series uses a hollow fiber membrane microfilter that removes bacteria and parasites at a microscopic level, plus a carbon stage for taste. The page's comparison chart shows the Go Series offers leakproof design, chlorine reduction, 2-stage filtration, and bacteria, parasite, and microplastic removal, while Brita premium does not offer 2-stage filtration or bacteria, parasite, and microplastic removal. The Go Series also comes in other formats—a 1L BPA-free bottle, an Outdoorsman 24 oz, and stainless steel 18 oz, 24 oz, and 1L versions.

"Literally addicted to drinking from it. By far favorite water bottle. One downside tho is my everytime I drink from my water bottle the air hole thing squeaks and gurgles. My friends’ bottles don’t so I think it’s just with this one. Overall tho I would totally recommend"
"Price is high. silicone colored base for bottle should be included. I pour distilled water into it but I love that it's filtering micro plastics. There is zero plastic taste."
"This water bottle is my new favorite. I work at a daycare so the cap is great for keeping the germs off. The filter is better than any other brand on the market. I’ve tried others and the water doesn’t taste as good as it does from this bottle. I wish there was a kids version for my kiddos!"
"Love the size and filter. Great for day-to-day use and travel! Highly recommend!"
"I bought this bottle to replace a Camelbak bottle that has a lifestraw filter. Unfortunately, the metal camelbak was only available in a huge size that was too big for both my backpack and the cup holder in my car. The new lifestraw bottle is a great color, and fits better in my car. But the straw design does not work as well as well as the flip straw on the camelbak. The cap is really too tall, so it still doesn’t fit really well into my backpack. And you have to find a place to put the lid while you’re drinking."
"Easy to take with and gives me piece of mind that my water is safe. Took it on a cruise and felt completely confident about the water I was drinking wherever we went."
"Dealing with hard water . No problems with this . I do have large hands, this bottle is a bit large to reach around . I look for a knob to put on it ."
"Came as described and in a timely fashion, can’t wait to use it"
"Easy to fill and filter anywhere. Not great for flying…water comes out the mouth piece with pressure at altitude."
