Feel Secure
"I feel secure in the fact that I'm well protected from micro plastics. The only drawback is that sometimes pressure builds up in the bottle and will come up through the straw and spill."
The LifeStraw Go Series 22 oz water filter bottle is designed for people who need safe, great-tasting water anywhere—whether you’re hiking, traveling, at school, or simply at your desk. Featuring a robust dual-stage filtration system, it removes 99.999999% of bacteria (including E. coli), 99.999% of parasites (such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and 99.999% of microplastics, plus silt and sand. The activated carbon filter further reduces chlorine, odors, and organic chemicals, improving taste.
Built for real-world conditions, the membrane microfilter lasts up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 L)—the equivalent of 8,000 single-use bottles. The bottle is BPA-free, dishwasher safe (filters removed), ergonomic, leakproof, and available in multiple colors. Every purchase supports LifeStraw’s Give Back program, providing a year of safe water to a child in need. The Go Series is independently lab-tested to WHO, US EPA, and NSF standards, and LifeStraw is a certified B Corp and Climate Neutral company.
Customers consistently praise the Go Series for its filtration performance, peace of mind, and ease of use. While some mention minor design tweaks could improve ergonomics and lid functionality, the overwhelming feedback is positive—reflected in a 4.6/5 rating from over 670 reviews. LifeStraw stands apart through rigorous, transparent testing, durable field-ready design, and a built-in social impact model.

"Literally addicted to drinking from it. By far favorite water bottle. One downside tho is my everytime I drink from my water bottle the air hole thing squeaks and gurgles. My friends’ bottles don’t so I think it’s just with this one. Overall tho I would totally recommend"
"This water bottle is my new favorite. I work at a daycare so the cap is great for keeping the germs off. The filter is better than any other brand on the market. I’ve tried others and the water doesn’t taste as good as it does from this bottle. I wish there was a kids version for my kiddos!"
"I bought this bottle to replace a Camelbak bottle that has a lifestraw filter. Unfortunately, the metal camelbak was only available in a huge size that was too big for both my backpack and the cup holder in my car. The new lifestraw bottle is a great color, and fits better in my car. But the straw design does not work as well as well as the flip straw on the camelbak. The cap is really too tall, so it still doesn’t fit really well into my backpack. And you have to find a place to put the lid while you’re drinking."
"Easy to take with and gives me piece of mind that my water is safe. Took it on a cruise and felt completely confident about the water I was drinking wherever we went."
"Dealing with hard water . No problems with this . I do have large hands, this bottle is a bit large to reach around . I look for a knob to put on it ."
"Came as described and in a timely fashion, can’t wait to use it"
"Easy to fill and filter anywhere. Not great for flying…water comes out the mouth piece with pressure at altitude."
"The water bottle is solidly built and quite durable. The filtered water tastes slightly sweet, which is nice. However, the twist cap is a bit tight, making it somewhat difficult to open and close—hopefully it will loosen up after a few more uses. I also noticed a small issue: possibly due to pressure or temperature differences, when the bottle has been left for a while (such as after hiking for an hour or two) and I open it again, the water tends to gush out like a small fountain."
"Best filtered stainless steel bottle! Just got back from Peru and didn’t have a problem with filtering the water in the LifeStraw Go Series. The water stayed cold in the Amazon!"
