"The straw works great! No complaints about the function and easy to clean. The only thing I was disappointed by was it is too thick for me to use with my Starbucks Tumbler or cups of that nature."

"I use this everyday and it gives me peace of mind to know i can now trust the water I am drinking in restaurants and at home. I use it even when drinking bottled water. The only drawback is that I haven't found a stainless steel tumbler that has an opening large enough for the straw to fit through."

- Can I use it with ice coffee? Would anything else but water taste different if you use this straw?
- Hi, You can use the LifeStraw Sip with plain coffee or iced coffee, as long as there’s no sugar, cream, or flavoring added. Just note that it can stain the filter and may leave a coffee taste that’s hard to remove. The Sip is designed for water, so using it with other beverages could affect taste or performance over time.
- Can you use this straw with any 40oz tumbler like a Stanley, Simple Modern trek, 40oz FrostBuddy thicc buddy, etc.
- You can use the LifeStraw Sip with many larger bottles and tumblers, but we recommend checking fit before assuming full compatibility. The straw is about 10 inches long and 0.5 inches in diameter. If your 40 oz tumbler allows the straw to reach the water level, and the lid or mouth opening accommodates sipping through the straw, it should work fine. However, we do not guarantee fit with every 40 oz tumbler model (such as Stanley, Simple Modern, or FrostBuddy) because bottle dimensions and lid designs vary.

- 1,000 liters or 264gallons. If you take an assumption of someone drinking a bottle of water a day with the straw (0.5 liters), this in principle means the product can last over five years with everyday use. We expect most people will not end up using the product daily, so the lifespan should be even greater than five years.
