FAQs
-
What's the shelf life of this product?
The original LifeStraw personal water filter has an unlimited shelf life! Once used, the filter lasts up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 liters) - enough to last an individual for over 5 years!
-
How do I know when it's time to change the filter?
Once the personal water filter straw has reached the end of its lifetime, water will no longer flow through. We recommend regularly backwashing your filter by blowing air through it after use to maintain the longevity of the filter.
