Reviews

Pitcher stand

"I have 4 pitchers from you and I bought this for the 35 cup one. I am dissappointed with this. The stand is fine, but the water does not totally drain like the others, so you have to tilt it and then empty the rest by taking it apart. The stand wasn't necessary for me or useful. Sorry. I love the other 3 pitchers, water bottle and straws. I have a lung disease and cleaning this isn't easy either. Thank you for keeping my water clean though."

Very nice stand

"I decided to return because I was able to put the large container in my fridge!!! It’s great!! Ice cold delicious water on tap!"

Necessary Accessory

"I really like the stand and can't imagine not having it for the dispenser. I wish it were an inch or two taller so a normal drinking glass could fit under the spout, but I'm sure the reason it's the height it is is to allow the entire filter and stand to fit under the typical cabinet height."

"The wooden base gets the tank up off a counter enough to get a small glass under making it more convenient to use."

Superior taste.

"We've gone through various water filters including Britta, water services (sparklettes) and Berkey systems. We did side by side taste tests and the Lifestraw is so much better. Shockingly better tasting. Would love the larger capacity in heavy duty glass instead of plastic but we're happy with the plastic for now."

Well water relief

"Our water comes from our private well. We test it often and love the taste but our daughter with Crohns has issues with it. We used to have to buy bottled water when she visited but not now! Thank you for a great solution!"

Q&A

Is there an indicator of when to change the filter aside from the number of months it's been used? I'm interested in either the 18 cup or 2.2 gallon home dispenser. Thanks for the timely response.
Hello, Thank you for your question. The membrane microfilter is designed to gradually slow down over time as it captures contaminants. With proper maintenance according to the care instructions, it will continue functioning safely. As the filter reaches the end of its lifespan, you will notice a significant reduction in flow rate. That slowing is the primary performance indicator for the membrane filter. The activated carbon filter should be replaced every two months after first use, regardless of how much water has been filtered. Carbon does not have a reliable visual or flow based indicator when it becomes exhausted. Its adsorption capacity diminishes over time, and once saturated, it will no longer effectively reduce chemicals such as chlorine, PFAS, or organic compounds.
Would this stand also be compatible with the 18-cup home dispenser? Or only the 35-cup high capacity home dispenser?
Hello, This stand is made for the 35 cup dispenser only. Currently, considerations are being made to design a stand for the 18 cup. We hope to have more details soon!
How tall is this stand and dispenser together? I need to make sure it fits on my counter. Thank you.
Hi there! Both combined are 16.5 inches tall.
