Water tastes clean
"I have owned a Brita filter for years and was skeptical if the LifeStraw filter would be any different. The setup was fairly easy. There's a micro filter and a carbon filter, so the water is getting thoroughly filtered. The filter rate is on the slower side and can take longer as the pitcher fills with more water. It takes about 3-4 fills to fill up the pitcher. I tried the LifeStraw filtered water compared to the Brita filtered water, and I did notice a slight difference. The LifeStraw water tasted a little cleaner with less of an aftertaste of tap water. So while it takes longer to filter, the water comes out cleaner tasting."

Advanced water filter pitcher!
"This is a very good water pitcher with an advanced filter system. There are activated carbon and ion filters that remove bacteria, parasites, metals, chemicals, and microplastics. The filter system also works fast! I love the top of it that features an easy fill flap, and the cap is slightly tilted towards the fill area so you don't make a mess. That's what I've been needing, because I always make a huge mess when I fill up my old pitcher. I bought the 7-cup blue model and I love it!"

A stylish pitcher for everyday use
"This LifeStraw water filter pitcher is a great size for our family of two. It holds seven cups, so we have enough water for everyday use, but it doesn't take up too much space in the fridge. I also like the clean, simple design. It looks nice sitting out on the counter. The two-stage filtration is another reason I chose it. According to the packaging, it filters more than 30 contaminants, including microplastics, lead, and PFAS. The pitcher feels like a practical choice for our home, and I'm happy with the size and design so far."

Simple water filter
"Overall, the water filter is solid. It's light, affordable, and easy to use. It's a bit flimsy with the thinner plastic, but that does keep it nice and light. Initial setup is easy, and the filler top makes it super simple and quick. My biggest annoyance is the sticker they use to keep the container shut during shipping. I spent close to 30 minutes scraping it off. Definitely a poor choice of material."

Lightweight quality plastic pitcher that filters most of the contaminants
"LifeStraw Home Essential plastic water filter pitcher is easy to assemble and made of quality lightweight plastic. It filters most of the contaminants that are found in the water which are not seen by our naked eyes. Cons: make sure not to use the very first filtered water, as it tastes bad."

I love having clean, fresh-tasting filtered water ready for my family without relying on plastic bottles.
"I've really been enjoying the LifeStraw Home Essential pitcher. I like that the water filters as I fill the pitcher, so I always have filtered water ready to drink. The water tastes clean and fresh, and it's been a great way for us to drink more water while using fewer plastic bottles. My daughter especially loves drinking water, so having filtered water ready in the fridge has been really convenient for us."

So many good features on this water filtration pitcher
"We love the size of this pitcher; it's tall and slender, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in the fridge. The filter is good for up to a year, which is great, but I'm not sure how to tell when it's due to be changed without an indicator. It pours well without spilling. It's easy to fill with minimal mess. The handle is on the slimmer side, so a suggestion would be to make it a little thicker for ease of use."

Great water filter pitcher
"I really like the LifeStraw Home Essential water filter pitcher. The setup and assembly were quick and easy, and the plastic material feels lightweight yet sturdy. The water tastes fresh and clean, and the pitcher is convenient for everyday use. Maintenance is simple, although the water flow through the filter can be a little slow at times. Overall, it's a great product for keeping fresh, filtered water at home."

Crisp, clean tasting water and sleek design for the kitchen.
"I absolutely love this LifeStraw Home Water Filter Pitcher. Not only does it look super sleek and modern sitting on my countertop, but the water tastes incredibly clean, crisp, and pure. Knowing that LifeStraw's filtration technology removes microplastics, heavy metals, and bacteria gives me total peace of mind for my family. Pretty in purple
"What I like: size is great, and color is pretty (gray-lavender). Easy to fill, and the filtration system is extensive. Where I live (PNW) the water tastes great from the tap, so I can't really comment on if it makes poor tasting water better. Overall, I love the look, and it gets the job done! My one star off is that the filter refills are not locally available to me."
