Q&A
- Can you remove the fillable lid flap? In my old version of the pitcher I cannot remove it so I feel like I am never able to fully clean that part of the pitcher.
- Hi Jessica, The new essential pitcher has a similar style lid but we do not recommend pulling out the flap as it can break. We recommend using a soft bottle brush or toothbrush to clean in the area of the lid for best results!
- are the filters in someway recyclable. I feel like it is just adding to the whole plastic waste
- Hi, We completely understand your concern about plastic waste. At this time, LifeStraw Home replacement filters are not designed for standard curbside recycling, as they contain multiple filtration materials that generally cannot be separated through normal recycling programs. We appreciate the question. Feedback like this is valuable as we continue looking at ways to improve our products and packaging.
- What's the volume in mL?
- Hello, The new Essential 7 cup pitcher is 1.7 L or 1656 mL.
