Best system for sustainability

"We had to get a replacement pitcher after my husband dropped our first one. I consider this system to be essential as my husband is an organ transplant recipient and needs clean water the rest of his life. I trust the quality of Lifestraw."

Glass pitcher replacement

"What wonderful customer service! My new glass pitcher ended up with a crack, no fault of my own. Call in to see if they would replace. No problem!"

Cindy B. (5/5)

Replacement parts are nice

"I was so glad to see there was a replacement pitcher when I accidentally cracked my glass pitcher. My original pitcher held together, but had a slow leak, and I am glad I got to keep using the filters and parts with a new glass."

Excellent company

"My pitcher cracked and I contacted customer service. They were great and quickly responded and told me that they would replace it for free because they back their product with a warranty. I absolutely love my life straw water pitcher and the quality and taste of the water is superior to others I have tried."

Jeanette H. (5/5)

Love your home product!

"I really appreciate your glass pitcher - trying to remove as much plastic out of my life as possible. Could the insert that houses the filters be made out of metal, even just the bottom half so the water doesn't touch plastic? Thank you!"

Patti M. (5/5)

Q&A

I’m looking to purchase the 7 cup plastic replacement pitcher. Is the $20 replacement pitcher plastic or glass? Do both the glass and plastic fit the 7 cup products in the plastic pitcher?
Hi, Thank you for your question. The replacement pitcher comes in 7 cup and 10 cup plastic for $20 and 7 cup glass for $30. The internal housing is different for each as the 7 and 10 cup are different sizes. If you have previously had the plastic pitcher and would like to move to the glass, there will be a different silicone seal included in the glass carafe that you would need to change on your 7 cup housing for it to properly fit. I hope this answers your question.
Hello, Can you please confirm the weight of the 7-cup glass pitcher versus the 7-cup plastic pitcher? (I see this question earlier in the Q&A, however, glass and plastic do not have the same density and should not weigh the same even if their physical size is the same.)
Hi, Thank you for the question and feedback! Here are the weights (with filters): 7 cup glass: 2 lbs. 4 oz | 1.8711 kg 7 cup plastic: 1 lb. 7 oz | 652kg 10 cup plastic: 1 lb. 13 oz | 513g
Do you store pitcher in fridge?
Hi, Absolutely — you can store the LifeStraw Home pitcher in the fridge, and many people do to keep their water cold. It’s safe and won’t damage the filter or components. If you prefer to store it on the counter, just be sure to: Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, as warm temperatures and light can encourage mold growth over time. Use it regularly — even if you're not drinking from it daily, pour a glass every few days to keep water moving through the filter.
Hello, I'm not sure if I have a 7-cup or 10-cup currently. It is plastic and has cracked. The only available pitcher currently is 7-cup glass. Would you please share dimensions of the pitchers? If I have a 10-cup currently would the filtering part fit inside of a 7-cup pitcher? Thank you.
Hi, Here are the specs for both pitchers. Size: 11.25 x 5.8 in | 28.5 x 14.7 cm (7-cup) and 12.6 x 6.3 in | 32 x 16 cm (10-cup) The housing for each size is different and are not interchangeable.
Will you be making a 10 cup glass pitcher?
Thank you for your interest and suggestion! We have explored the possibility of creating a 10-cup glass pitcher. However, factors like production costs, consumer pricing, and the product’s weight have prevented us from moving forward with it for now. We’re always looking for ways to expand our options and hope to offer a solution in the future. We appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind!
Hello my pitcher cracked all on its own I did not drop or bang it is this normal? I bought it at Wal-Mart
Hello Carmela, Your pitcher should not be cracking on its own! Please sent us a note at remy@lifestraw.com and we will get you sorted out!
Will the Silicone Base for LifeStraw Home 7-Cup fit the 7-cup glass pitcher.
Yes, the base of the pitchers are similar in size and the base will fit both.
Are the replacement filters same size for both 7 cup & 10 cup pitcher?
Hi Janice! The filters for both products would be the same.
Where is the non-glass pitcher, 7-C shown? With one filter-unit installed, and one extra filter, please.
Hello Lee! The 7 cup plastic pitcher is below. https://lifestraw.com/products/lifestraw-home This would come with the filters already but if you need additional filters, they can be bought below. https://lifestraw.com/products/lifestraw-home-replacement-filters
Is this pitcher dishwasher safe?
Hello! Yes, our Home Pitcher, both the glass and the BPA-Free plastic, are both dishwasher safe. The housing that the filters will come in, as well as the filters themselves are not dishwasher safe.
