How many cups does the 7 cup pitcher hold without the filter assembly?

Asked by: Viola
Hello! Without the filter assembly, the 7-cup pitcher could theoretically hold about 12 cups of liquid. However, to avoid breakage, we do recommend filling it to its capacity of 7 cups which would be in line with the bottom handle.
