"I bought LifeStraw Go Series — Insulated Stainless Steel bottle. Unfortunately, when the bottle would tip onto it's side, the lid didn't seal properly and it would leak. I contacted LifeStraw and they sent a free replacement. I was cautiously optimistic because the leaking is a periodic consumer complaint. But with the new lid, I'm good to go!"

- Hi. Is LifeStraw Go Series bottle cap compatible with Nalgene or any other wide-mouth bottle? Or is there an option to buy just the plastic Go series bottle without filter (in EU)? I have stainless steel LifeStraw bottle, but need a lighter option without buying whole new bottle.

- Hello, The LifeStraw has two different Go bottles. The Go and the Go Series. The Go has a pop up drinking valve that is pulled up to drink. The Go Series has a drinking valve that is stationary and covered by a screw top. This is the most recent and newest version of our Go bottle and are available at LifeStraw.com
- Was the Go series bottles cap changed? If it has, will the newer version work with a bottle bought about 3 years ago?
- Our Go Series bottle is a new version. The cap is not compatible with our previous Go bottle version.

- Currently we do not make caps and filters that fit other water bottles, however the SIP is a straw that can fit into some larger coffee style cups with large straw openings.

- Yes, the Go Series lids will fit all sizes of the Go Series bottles. They are not compatible with the previous model that has a flip-top straw, however.
- Does this cap work for the older style go bottle (the 22 oz metal life straw go bottles with the old cap)?
- Thank you for asking. This top does not work with the previous generation of Go bottles. To accommodate the carry handle and some other changes, the new lid is slightly larger and will not fit on the older style bottle.
