"I bought my LifeStraw Go series stainless steel water bottle from Amazon and I ordered the 6 pack replacement carbon filters at the same time. The filters were going to be delivered about 4 weeks afterwards. When the time came and went I got an email from Amazon saying the filters were going to be delayed about a month. Then Amazon tells me they cancelled my order for the filters because they couldn't get them. Then I went to your website to order the filters and you were sold out. So, I'm thinking what good is the bottle if I can't vet the filters. Finally, about 2 weeks later I checked your website again and they were back in stock, so I ordered a 6 pack. I love the bottle and the filters. I am a 71-year-old male, and I need to drink a lot of water, but due to the microplastics that are reportedly in bottled water these days I wasn't drinking much water. Now thanks to your filtered bottle I am drinking more water every day. Thank you."

- LifeStraw products do not have an expiration date or shelf life. If the carbon filter is sealed, it is safe to leave in storage for as long as needed. Once opened, the carbon filter should be used and will have an effective lifespan of approximately 60 days.
- Ive been removing the silicone mouthpiece everytime i drink in case microbes are on my mouthpiece. Should I be removing the mouthpiece or is it magically antimicrobial?
- You can but do not need to remove the silicon mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is not specifically antimicrobial, but it is easy to sanitize and disinfect. We recommend cleaning your bottle - including the lid and its components - on a regular basis.
- Hello, the water has taste of synthetical or chemical substances after filter replacement. Is that normal because of a new filter?
