WORLD TEACHERS' DAY GIVEAWAY
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE (OR THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE OF RESIDENCE, IF OLDER) AND WHO ARE CURRENTLY EMPLOYED AS K-12 TEACHERS. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, or any other social media platform. By entering, each entrant releases those platforms from any and all liability in connection with this giveaway.
1. Sponsors
The World Teachers' Day Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Vestergaard Frandsen, Inc. (d/b/a “LifeStraw,” 333 West Ostend Street ("LifeStraw"). LifeStraw is the administrator of the Giveaway ("Administrator").
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry: (a) are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia; (b) are at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi); and (c) are currently employed full time or part time as a classroom teacher at an accredited public, private, or charter school serving any of grades kindergarten through 12 located in the United States (an "Eligible Teacher").
Employees, officers, and directors of each Sponsor, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, and advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and each of their respective spouses) and household members of each such person, are not eligible. Residents of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and other U.S. territories and possessions are not eligible. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on October 5, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 12, 2026 (the "Giveaway Period"). Administrator's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway. Entries received before or after the Giveaway Period will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, visit www.lifestraw.com/giveaways during the Giveaway Period and complete and submit the online entry form with all required information, including your first and last name, email address, state of residence, and the name and city of the school where you teach. You may, but are not required to, opt in to receive marketing emails from LifeStraw and/or Yoobi. Opting in is not required to enter and will not improve your chances of winning.
Entry Limit. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Giveaway Period, regardless of the number of email addresses used. Sharing the Giveaway on social media is optional and will not earn additional entries. Use of multiple email addresses, identities, bots, scripts, or any automated or other means to enter or to exceed the entry limit will void all of that entrant's entries.
All entries become the property of Administrator and will not be acknowledged or returned. Incomplete, late, illegible, automated, or non-compliant entries are void. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
On or about October 14, 2026, Administrator will select one (1) winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The random drawing will be conducted by Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household.
6. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winner will be notified by email sent from an @lifestraw.com email address to the email address provided at entry. Sponsors will not notify winner by social media direct message. Sponsors will never ask an entrant or winner to pay any fee, provide a credit card or bank account number, or click a link to an outside website to claim a prize. Any message requesting payment or financial information is not from the Sponsors.
To claim a prize, a potential winner must respond as directed within five (5) days after the notification is sent and provide: (a) full name, mailing address (no P.O. boxes), email address, and telephone number; and (b) reasonable proof of current employment as an Eligible Teacher, such as a school-issued staff identification card, a current letter or email from a school administrator, or a current school directory listing. Potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within the time stated in the request.
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond or provide the required information within the stated time, is found ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Receipt of a prize is conditioned on compliance with these Official Rules.
7. Prizes
One (1) prize will be awarded. Each prize consists of:
• Thirty (1) LifeStraw Go Series 22 oz BPA-free water filter bottle, provided and shipped by LifeStraw (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $44.95);
• Thirty (1) Yoobi Writing Set, 24 piece, Ballpoint Pens and Mechanical Pencils, provided and shipped by Yoobi (ARV: $16.99).
ARV of each prize: $65.93. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,977.90. Each Sponsor is solely responsible for providing and delivering its own prize components. Prize components may be shipped separately and will be shipped only to addresses in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Prizes will be shipped within approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks after winner verification. Colors, designs, and styles will be selected by the applicable Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash equivalent or substitution is permitted, except that each Sponsor may substitute a prize component of equal or greater value if the advertised component becomes unavailable for any reason. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of a prize will not be awarded. Winner are responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, by any Sponsor, except any manufacturer's warranty that accompanies the product.
8. Employer Policies and Gift Rules
Some schools, school districts, and government employers restrict their employees' acceptance of gifts or prizes. Each entrant is solely responsible for determining whether his or her participation in the Giveaway and acceptance of a prize is permitted under the policies of his or her employer and any applicable ethics or gift laws. Prizes are awarded to winner in their personal capacity, and are not offered in exchange for, or with the expectation of, any official action, purchasing decision, or endorsement by any winner or school. A winner who is not permitted to accept a prize may decline it, and an alternate winner may be selected.
9. General Conditions
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Administrator, which are final and binding. Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If the Giveaway cannot be run as planned for any reason beyond Administrator's reasonable control, including technical failure, fraud, or platform changes, Administrator may cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway and, if it does so, may award prizes by random drawing from among the eligible entries received before the action. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may violate criminal and civil laws, and Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Release and Limitations of Liability
By entering, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless LifeStraw and Yoobi Global, LLC, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties"), from any and all claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or unintelligible entries or notifications; (b) technical, network, hardware, software, or platform failures or malfunctions; (c) unauthorized human intervention; (d) printing or typographical errors in any Giveaway materials; or (e) prizes lost, damaged, or delayed in shipping.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for each Sponsor to use the winner's first name, last initial, state of residence, and for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Giveaway, in any media, without further compensation or approval.
12. Privacy
Information submitted on the entry form is collected by LifeStraw and will be used to administer the Giveaway and fulfill prizes, and otherwise in accordance with the LifeStraw Privacy Policy. Winner' names, mailing addresses, and contact information will be shared with Yoobi solely to fulfill Yoobi prize components. Entrants will be added to a Sponsor's marketing email list only if they affirmatively opt in to that Sponsor's emails on the entry form, and may unsubscribe at any time. Yoobi will receive the contact information of entrants who opt in to Yoobi emails. Yoobi's use of any information it receives is governed by the Yoobi Privacy Policy.
13. Disputes and Governing Law
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (a) any dispute arising out of or relating to the Giveaway will be resolved individually, without resort to any class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland; (b) any claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering, and in no event will entrants be entitled to attorneys' fees or punitive, incidental, or consequential damages; and (c) these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
14. Winner List and Official Rules
For the first names, last initials, and states of the winner (available after November 1, 2026), send a request by email to info@lifestraw.com or by mail to the Administrator address in Section 1, Attn: World Teachers' Day Giveaway Winner List, to be received by December 31, 2026.
