"I will be purchasing the Life Straw Ultra Filter Membrane system. However, the standard filter that comes with this does not remove chemicals or heavy metals. So, I would like to add an additional carbon filter as an in line product in order to have totally clean water coming out. Until they come out with a carbon filter to add on to the gravity bag I guess I will have to look for 3rd party parts/filters. Can this filter be attached to a smaller than 8L bag?
Thank you for the question. The Peak Series Gravity Purifier's interface is compatible with all the Peak Series bags and bladders. It can be used with the 3L bag or even the squeeze bottles. This may affect the filtration speed, but it will work.
